The Point Leo SLSC COVIDSafe Management Plan is still in place for this season in accordance with LSV, SLSA and Victorian Government requirements.

The guiding principle of the Management Plan is to keep Members and the public as safe as possible in the most practical way.

We all have a role in limiting the spread of COVID-19. Please do NOT attend the Club or participate in any Club activities if:

  • You or anyone in your household, or close contacts, is feeling unwell
  • You or anyone in your household, or close contacts, have been in close contact with someone who has been directed to isolate

In either of these situations please get tested and self-isolate until you receive a negative test.

Access to the Clubhouse and participation in Point Leo SLSC and LSV activities is limited to members, with those over the age of 18 required to be fully vaccinated.

Members aged between 12 and 18 years of age are required to be fully vaccinated if they are undertaking new courses, patrol or volunteer in any Club or LSV activities.

Sports training for Juniors and Seniors and Surf Boats has been approved with a COVIDSafe Plan.

Please familiarise yourself with the Summary COVIDSafe Plan for each area of Club Activity – links are provided for more information in each Plan. These will be updated regularly to ensure compliance with changing restrictions and guidelines from LSV.

The Committee has endorsed three COVIDSafe Coordinators (Tamara Brawn, Tarena Murray and Jason Romari) and COVIDSafe Champions in each activity area. These members have more information and can help with any questions.

We will notify members via weekly emails and Team App when there are changes. We encourage you to come back here from time to time or if you are doing a Club activity for the first time this season.

If there is a suspected or confirmed case at the Club or from Club Activities the COVIDSafe Champions and Coordinators will manage the process.
